Donovan McNabb knows what the Eagles should do with their Carson Wentz situation, trade him. When the former Eagle star QB was asked what they should do with Wentz by CBS Sports Zach Gelbs he responded.
“Yes. But the problem is Howie is so tied to him, that his job pretty much is on the line for this. When people are questioning how he even still is working as the GM, when he lost his GM job with Chip Kelly, then they brought him back with Doug (Pederson). It helped him win the Super Bowl but you haven’t done nothing since. So the question is, you fired Doug but he still has his job?”
So Carson is tied to the hip with him. If they trade Carson, then that puts a little gasoline around Howie that something has to be done or you gotta get a great trade for Carson to help you out.

It is not as easy as it seems though, the Eagles really hurt his trade value in my opinion by starting Jalen Hurts for the final few games of the season, making it seem as if their QB was worse than their rookie option.
I was very wrong about Wentz at the beginning of his career like many others. When he led Philadelphia as a rookie to that great regular season start I thought he was going to be the real deal. That game where he ended up getting hurt diving for the goal line I thought he was going to lead the NFC East in division titles.
Nick Foles really broke that team. By coming in and winning the Super Bowl he gave the city hopes and dreams. The front office and Howie Roseman let Foles go elsewhere banking on Wentz being the future and that he is not.
TL//DR: Donovan McNabb says Eagles should trade Carson Wentz.
