Sometimes the best thing a flower can do is die. Griffin Crest clearly got some bad advice and walked away from the ultimate lottery ticket (I went into further detail on the newest Mentorship episode that’s coming soon). I had to fire Wardlaw for being a delusional idiot. Sports media is dying and the younger generation just doesn’t have any clue about the real world. I think it’s time I lead that conversation. Dear young content creators… you’re all lazy.

The only people surprised by the demise of Sports Illustrated are the people who aren’t paying attention. It’s actually really funny. I constantly am told how I’m the crazy bad guy for doing what I’m doing. Yet the entire industry around us continues to fail while we here at Vendetta are growing exponentially.

You think that’s an accident or maybe I’m just right. If you have been with us long enough, I usually am. People like Matthew Berry found out the hard way. You can keep crowning the clowns in the media. I’ll continue to laugh as I get to sit at home every day while working for myself and watching the rest of the industry constantly being laid off.

I’m just going to fill everyone in on a little secret. It takes more than talent to be successful in this industry. Well, unless you were born into it and have the right last name to save you. Other than that, nobody really cares.

Want to hear the secret? You actually have to work hard. If you’re not striving to do ten articles a day don’t even bother trying to be part of this industry. You won’t make it. Vendetta is the only sports company in the world preparing people for the realities of the industry. Have you noticed what’s happened to all of the names that leave this place? Have they accomplished anything noteworthy? All of the people that don’t make it here never make it elsewhere. Not an accident.

You can keep calling me the bad guy. I just think it’s funny. I’ll continue to laugh at all of the people that get fired. The truth of the matter is you’re not valuable. None of you really are. The only way to become valuable is to put your name out there over and over and over and over and over again.

Go Google my author pages whether it be from here or the other publications I worked for. I’ll show you how to be successful in this industry. The rest of you need to stop pretending you’re owed something for imaginary work. Get with reality or get lost.

You’re not passionate about sports. You’re just a lazy turd that has no value in this industry. Go prove me wrong. Nobody owes you anything and nobody feels bad for you. Do the work and the rewards will come… years later. Not tomorrow.
