Sofia Franklyn is trying her best to play the victim card. I’m not sure she’s succeeding but trying nevertheless. After repeatedly saying that she made an honest effort to make things work at Barstool, she then months later threw a hissy fit that she got canceled for not wanting to make things work for a “disgusting” company.
On the latest episode of the Dave Portnoy Show, Barstool’s founder roasted Sofia with and F for fumbling the bag. Portnoy says Franklyn lost $30 million by not taking his original deal. This, of course, is not the only other major story that Franklyn has been involved in this year. Seems to be someone that lives in her own world of delusion.
Franklyn had a big enough of a following while she was with Call Her Daddy to get some viewership. It’s obvious that as Portnoy says, she’s desperate for attention. Say what you want about Portnoy. I don’t agree with him all the time but he’s right in this instance. She lost a lot of money. A lot being the understatement of the century.
Other developments on the show include the departure of Dillon and Portnoy losing it on Karim for not promoting his show enough. Something maybe people here could learn to do.
Side note: Others to fumble the bag in recent memory. Damian Powers from Love is Blind.
Other side note: Post idea! Power rankings of people that fumbled the bag. Now THAT is a must read.
