Dan Campbell delivers a HOT Take on Thanksgiving Food

As the holidays–specifically Thanksgiving–approach, Detroit Lions head coach Dan Campbell is in the season of giving. Not only is he handing the other teams losses this year, but Campbell has just delivered a hot take regarding Thanksgiving food.

It has been an age-old debate amongst people over the holidays on what is their favorite Thanksgiving food. Some people may say mashed potatoes or pumpkin pie, or if you’re crazy, you like stuffing.

But Campbell is looking at the two of the most popular dishes: Ham or Turkey?

“Must have is ham, I’m a big ham guy, I’m not a turkey guy, unless it’s fried turkey,” Campbell recently said. I’m not a dressing fan. I’m not a cranberry fan, I’ll throw that right out to the dogs. Everything else, I’ll load it right on top of each other, full stack.”

We all know Campbell as being a character, and I have to admit, I like him as a coach. He seems like a very cool and genuine guy; a fun guy to hang out with and toss the football around at the cookout. But he can be a little crazy at times, and I’m all for it … unless it’s if he wants to break my kneecaps.

Campbell is crazy in the sense that he votes for ham as better than turkey. Honestly, I might have to agree with him. I’ve never been a big fan of turkey during Thanksgiving time, it just seems over-hyped and flat-out mid.

Maybe I’m crazy too. I mean, some of the hot takes that I have and stand by can be a little psychotic, but it gets the people going like Campbell with the Lions players.
