All this week, EA Sports has been releasing information as we await the highly anticipated release of College Football 25. We have gotten both offensive and defensive rankings, the toughest stadiums to play in, and a deep dive into the sights and sounds of the game. Today was the end of the release week, and we got the top 25 teams in the game. The full list is below:
As we have done for both the offensive and defensive rankings, let’s talk about these EA Sports College Football 25 team rankings.
Can we talk about Clemson for a second? I don’t know that they’ll make it to the ACC Championship, and yet they are somehow the sixth-ranked team? Give me a break. Florida State, NC State, Miami, and Virginia Tech might all be better than Clemson (by season’s end, at least) and I am to believe they are six? Pass.
EA Sports is really pushing this Colorado thing hard. I don’t believe they will win MORE THAN seven games this season, and they are 16. Nope. Notre Dame is another team that’s too high. Kansas and Virginia Tech finish the season in the top 20 of the official polls. Ole Miss is going to be a playoff team this year, so their being 15 is interesting. Lastly, I assumed USC would have been a bit lower than this, but as a Trojans fan, we fight on.
