Colin Cowherd Thinks The Raiders Should Sell Their Soul For Deshaun Watson

Okay, those weren’t the exact words that were said, but essentially that is what Colin Cowherd meant. Colin Cowherd is a talking head, his job is to create controversy with outlandish ideas. I fell for the bait but I don’t care. He has frequently said some crazy things and I have to draw the line here. Here is the video that he posted on his podcast Twitter account:

What the fuck is he is smoking? Of course, the Texans would listen to that offer! Get a top 3 TE, an at least top 15 QB in the league, if not more, AND 4 first-round picks?! Hell, they belong in an insane asylum if they don’t even let the Raiders finish the offer and take it. This is how I know if some people watch the Raiders or not. What is the point of trading for a better QB when the defense lost the Raiders games most of the time? Sure, Deshaun Watson is awesome and a top 5 QB in the league, but it doesn’t mean the Raiders should trade for him. Especially, if the defense continues to be the problem, we would have just traded 4 1st-rounders that could have been key pieces on the Raiders’ defense.

Unless you’re Trey Daubert who says the Raiders will waste away the 1st rounders anyway so, why not trade them? The Raiders scored more than 30 points a game and would still lose games. If the Raiders scored less than 30 points, it was basically a loss. That’s not saying Watson can’t do what Derek Carr can do, but he would be doing it without Darren Waller in this scenario. The problem with the Raiders is defense, that much is painfully clear. The Carr haters have lost all logic or reason because of the defense. Colin Cowherd has now seemed to join that category, but he never seems to be as smart as he may talk. Please stop with this scenario unless it is actually believable.
