Coley Mick Quits Barstool Sports

The hits keep coming. By that, I mean the content creators that keep leaving Barstool Sports. Even worse, the talented ones. Coley Mick has announced that he is leaving the company. The entire public just found out via The Dave Portnoy show.

You can watch that by clicking the link here! The Coley interview starts a little after the 1:06:00 mark. Coley has been with Barstool since 2010. After 12 years, he’s calling it quits.

We know why Coley left. We didn’t have to watch the video to find out. After the Tyler situation, Coley was always going to feel some type of way. Once Trill Withers left Barstool, Coley was no longer all in. That’s just the way it was.

Once the real Boston crew left, it was over. With Jared Carrabis leaving the company, Coley’s OG circle was gone. While being the editor is cool, I guess, he’s way too talented to just rot in that role either. You could tell just by his face on the video it was time to go.

If you have to make a prediction, you would have to imagine Complex is a heavy favorite. They have a serious basketball presence and they have shown interest in the past. They’re also based in New York City which could be the problem. I’d imagine the Boston guy wants to return home.

It remains to be seen what’s next. The only thing that’s clear is Barstool is donezo. On the Barstool side, you have to wonder who’s next? The hungry dog always run faster. They’re not hungry. Once you get too many Jeff Vibbert’s and Tommy Smokes’ that hunger leaves the room real fast.
