ChicksTape Podcast Is Officially Retiring…For Now

Today, I have sad news. I will be retiring the podcast ChicksTape. What came down to it, it wasn’t fair to say I had a podcast without consistently putting out episodes. I never had the time to record episodes or edit them in a timely fashion. Therefore it wasn’t fair for me to say I have a podcast. The new job that I have is time-consuming as well; there just wasn’t enough time to give the fans what they, and what we wanted.

Episodes Summary

We did have some great episodes. We had a couple of side episodes (Jackson gave me the idea of the name Side Chicks) with team-specific episodes. Those were with Trey talking about the Celtics and Jackson talking about his Grizzlies. I had most of an episode talking about how the Bucks WOULD NOT make the playoffs. My co-host and I also spoke about predictions for the playoffs in a weird year and the whole bubble situation. All in all, the experience was a blast. I enjoyed every minute of recording and putting out episodes.

I say all that to say this, will there be a comeback? Maybe. Could I, the…unique Alex Chick III, come out of retirement as Michael Jordan did twice? Possibly. I am not necessarily closing the tab on this forever. It may be closed for good or just for the time being. It all depends on what the future holds. But, as of right now, I am officially retired as a podcast host until further notice. I want to say thank you to all that listened to the ChicksTape podcast and have things to say about it. I love anyone that did. I’ll be sure to keep my mic clean and undusted just in case of that comeback.
