The Celtics Need To Fire Brad Stevens

New Celtics President of Basketball Operations Brad Stevens has made one trade and already has proven to be incompetent at his new job. Earlier today, Boston shipped Kemba Walker and the 16th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft to Oklahoma City for Al Horford, Moses Brown, and a second round pick. I don’t need to see any more. Stevens is clearly clueless making personnel decisions and needs to be fired a week into his new job.

Say whatever you want about Danny Ainge. The man was clearly very good at his job whether you agreed with some of things he did or not. Ainge would NEVER do something this stupid. Trading Kemba was never going to be an easy task but Stevens somehow found the one deal to downgrade his roster and gave up a first round pick to do so.

I’m in a piss poor mood so I’m not even going to mince words. I fucking hate Al Horford. Always have. Always will. We can debate about Horford but the current iteration of him flat out stinks. Horford tanked the Sixers and probably should just retire if it weren’t for the large contract he’s tied to.

WTF are the Celtics doing? Kemba had problems staying on the court but at least the guy could play. Shit, Horford is slow, can’t jump, can’t rebound, is soft as hell, and is about as useful as sandpaper is after you take a deuce. I legit threw a party when Horford left the Sixers. He signed a terrible contract and somehow the Celtics decided to sign back up for it and gave away a first round pick to do so.

I don’t need to see anymore. Brad Stevens has made one trade and it’s obvious he’s a dope. Sam Presti just played a first year general manager like a fiddle. Sad, pathetic, and embarrassing. The Celtics are officially unwatchable next year and the offseason hasn’t even really started.

There is good news. I’m a hockey guy now and basketball is stupid anyway.
