Take the keys away from Bill O’Brien! Houston’s head coach has full roster control and has been running his team into the ground. David Johnson has absolutely no tread left on the tires. O’Brien just gave away DeAndre Hopkins for a washed up running back! WTF is happening! If you are an NFL GM right now, your first call has to go to the Texans.

The DeAndre Hopkins – David Johnson trade may go down as the most lopsided trade in NFL history. Words can’t describe how stupid this is for the Texans.

Let’s break down what O’Brien has done to this roster. He basically swapped Jadeveon Clowney for Duke Johnson. He traded the farm for Laremy Tunsil giving away every pick they had. O’Brien gave away more picks for Gareon Conley and Carlos Hyde. Now he’s added David Johnson in a swap for arguably the best receiver in football. At this point, if he trades Deshaun Watson for Nick Foles I would not be surprised.

Johnson is totally washed. Johnson lost his job to Kenyan Drake this past year and averaged 3.7 yards per carry in 2019. It wasn’t any better in 2018 with a mark of 3.6 YPC.

DeAndre Hopkins Believes He’s The Best Receiver In Football

This is enormous win for Arizona. Kyler Murray now has a true number one receiver now. Hopkins is as good as it gets. The man just doesn’t drop balls. Hopkins, 28, is in the prime of his career and has 3 straight years of well over 1,000 yards receiving. Hopkins joins Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk. It’s a group that looks a hell of a lot better now. Steve Keim deserves a raise for this one.
