Can We Have A Chat About JC Jackson?

Can We Have A Chat About JC Jackson?

JC Jackson got hurt today. It sucks that happened and you never want it to potentially end a season that way. He was carted off so it’s probably not good news. In a total side rant, I just want to have a side conversation. I just want to talk about JC Jackson and am begging the media to stop doing this.

All of you clowns blew JC Jackson this offseason like he was this top five corner. The Chargers paid this guy $80 million and you idiots acted like it mattered. When are you going to stop falling for this? How many times do I have to keep telling you this? The undrafted / late round pick the Patriots found in their secondary probably sucks. Bill Belichick is just such a genius at secondary stuff that he’s never going to miss. He will get every single squeeze out of that lemon. When he hands the flawed pieces over to you, it doesn’t go the same.

He’s never wrong about this. He can’t draft to save his life but he’s never wrong about this. Just like his best disciple Saban, they’re secondary guys at heart. This is what they do. Malcolm Butler was always trash. You acted like he mattered. Second he goes to Tennessee? Boom, terrible.

He’s never wrong. Lawyer Milloy? Still question why he didn’t at least get some picks for it but was Milloy ever the same after Belichick dumped him?

We can do this for six hours. The only one that actually thrived after him was Asante Samuel but that’s because he was actually good. So is his son. Use your eyeballs. I hope you didn’t need me to tell you that part.

Please stop doing it. Please. I don’t want to hear it. Belichick gets a lot wrong but he’s a hell of a coach. JC Jackson was never going to light the world on fire in LA. Jackson had recorded 13 total tackles with one pass defensed in four games coming into the week. That’s while allowing a 155.3 passer rating and got benched.

My point is, maybe Jack Jones is the next guy here coming up. I haven’t grinded his tape but I can promise you he’s 100% not close to as good as he would be on your trash franchise that overpays him four years from now. End of blog.
