Cam Miller 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Keeping things moving here with the 2025 NFL Draft profile series. Yes, it’s another quarterback most people probably don’t care about who probably won’t get drafted. We’re reviewing Cam Miller anyway because we here at VSM pride ourselves on being the draft NFL Draft site on the internet. All stones will be uncovered. Without further ado, here is the Cam Miller 2025 NFL Draft profile!

I’m not going to sit here and pretend I’ve watched 90 hours of film on Miller. I can tell you that I very much watched the Week 1 game against Colorado and I was so unimpressed that I didn’t really talk about him. Didn’t feel a need to. 33-4 TD to INT ratio is fairly impressive. I see traits that makes him take care of the ball but there’s no high level athlete here. 6-foot-1 with okay mobility but nothing special.

We can go through these numbers all day but I’m not sure how much they mean given that historically speaking they just beat up on lesser competition. By they I mean North Dakota State punking other teams D1 teams don’t even put on the schedule.

I think I saw plenty at the East-West game. I’ll give the guy this. He tries hard but it’s a lot of overachiever vibes. No real upside or ceiling. From what I see, he can make the easy throws. Just can’t do any of the high level stuff that actually makes you a starting QB. During the East-West game itself, he never impressed. A lot of mental mistakes and couldn’t really lead any consistent drives down the field. Feels like a gimmick over a guy who can even be a functional backup.

If Miller was viewed as a guy with tons of untapped potential, he would have gotten a Combine invite. Even Trey Lance got one. Ditto Carson Wentz. He’s just not toolsy like those other guys were. I have an undrafted grade on Miller and if the NFL felt differently, I’m quite sure he would have been at the Combine rather than begging Matt Corral to take snaps.
