Caleb Williams Fantasy Football Profile: 2024 Re-Draft Leagues

If you haven’t checked out the Caleb Williams fantasy football profile for Dynasty leagues, I do recommend checking that out. There will be a lot of the same stuff in here that is from there. There are some differences just because Re-Draft leagues are a short-term way to play fantasy football. This is how I usually played until two years ago.

Now, I have a dynasty league and we still play re-draft every year. There are differences in value, even for a polarizing prospect like Caleb Williams. Sure, he should go No. 1 in rookie drafts, but what about the entire pool of NFL players? Let’s get into Caleb Williams’ fantasy value and where he should be drafted.

First, his weapons cannot be denied. He has weapons and a plethora of them, more than Justin Fields ever saw when he was in Chicago. He has D’Andre Swift, Khalil Herbert and Roschon Johnson at running back; D.J. Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze at wideout plus Cole Kmet and Gerald Everett at tight end. There are plenty of options at his disposal. He might have the most weapons out of any rookie QB of all time. There’s no reason why he shouldn’t have a great season.

What does that mean in a re-draft league though? As polarizing as Williams is, where does he stand with other fantasy quarterbacks, such as Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson? I have Caleb Williams as a top-10 fantasy QB.

Someone will take Williams in the top 5 for fantasy QBs, but I am more comfortable taking him in the top 10 for fantasy QBs. Where that is for your league, I’m not sure. I take QBs in the first round shamelessly because they’re in limited supply, unlike RBs, WRs, and TEs. If your quarterbacks aren’t good in a real 2 QB league, you’re cooked. Take Caleb Williams early in your fantasy drafts, it might be the reason why you win the league.
