Bill O’Brien Thinks Texans Made Smart Decision Investing In David Johnson

Bill O’Brien is running the Texans into the ground. The decision to trade DeAndre Hopkins and a 4th round pick for David Johnson and a 2nd round pick may go down as the most laughable trade ever. At least in the last 10 years. Of course, O’Brien continues to defend the trade. He says investing in David Johnson was wise. K.

“We studied David when he was coming out of college and during his career in Arizona,” O’Brien said, via Jeffri Chadiha of NFL.com. “Everybody has to go through their injuries and coaching changes. But you’re also talking about a guy who was Arizona’s Walter Payton Man of the Year. He’s tough and smart and a three-down back who can be used with Duke Johnson.”

Someone needs to get Bill O’Brien a drug test NOW. This is so delusional. So you liked David Johnson in college so therefore you think that trading DeAndre Hopkins is worth it?
