Best Young Quarterbacks To Invest in On SimBull in 2021

Quarterback is arguably the most important position in the NFL, so which young gunslinger should you trust with your hard-earned dollars on SimBull? With such an emphasis on the play of the offensive leader, there is a high turnover rate at the position and many teams take gambles on kids coming out of college. For the purposes of this analysis, I am leaving out incoming rookies because I would like to see them play a few games with the big boys before I invest.

#5 Patrick Mahomes

This is the obvious choice, but the only reason I put him fifth is because of the price of the SimChiefs. At $62.50 it is the second most expensive stock in the entire market, but Mahomes has all the makings of a two-decade stud if he remains healthy. He is only 25, turning 26 during this upcoming season, so there is a very real chance we are seeing him play for Lombardi trophies in 2030.

#4 Lamar Jackson

Lamar Jackson has great legs no doubt, and he has proven that he is able to lead a team through the regular season and into a playoff game. Being an athlete still has tremendous value in the league, so despite his arm, he can make plays. At $52.95 he only is above Mahomes on this list because of the ten-dollar difference.

#3 Justin Herbert

Herbert has only slightly better value than Mahomes because the SimChargers are overpriced in the current SimBull market. They are better off without former head coach Anthony Lynn and his decision-making, and that is good for a few more wins. If the Chargers can protect Herbert and draft talent to bring the best out of him, I can swing them at $47.80.

#2 Kyler Murray

Kyler Murray is the future of the NFL and the quarterback position as a whole. Despite his size, he is quick, can create plays in the open field, and has a great arm to boot. His baseball background allows him to switch up his arm angle, a rare skill in the NFL, and his versatility helps him get the ball to its target. His second season was interrupted by COVID so another year of OTAs and mini camp will he crucial.

#1 Sam Darnold

Maybe I am just a battered Jets fan who is unable to let go of our failures as an organization, but I believe Darnold is still full of untapped potential and Matt Rhule and the Panthers will bring that out of him. They are one of the cheapest teams on the SimMarket at $41.68 and I do not know why.
