Andrew Whitworth Handled The Super Bowl 53 Loss Well

Andrew Whitworth
“At the end of the day, you’re all going to die”. Words spoken by Andrew Whitworth (Mark J. Rebilas/USA TODAY Sports)

If you would have told me the Rams would have needed 14 points to win the Super Bowl and couldn’t do it, I wouldn’t have believed you. Putting up 3 points in the Super Bowl is embarrassing. That just goes to show how putrid Jared Goff is. Anyway, his left tackle Andrew Whitworth, is handling the Super Bowl loss really well.

Whitworth claimed that at the end of the day, we’re all going to die anyway so who cares!

He’s not wrong. This is great logic. Instead of getting mad at his quarterback who sucks, just collect that paycheck and enjoy the little life that we get to have. Hey, who cares if you lose. You’re great enough to play in the NFL so who cares. I respect that logic. Whitworth is the oldest tackle in the league and signed with a franchise that could keep his joints and muscles fresh in the sun. Hey, at the end of the day, enjoy the weather because the sun will explode eventually, anyway.

Here’s what I do know. I’m so glad the Rams got their teeth kicked in. No fan base has worse fans than the city of LA. They don’t care about anything. Probably because of the whole sun is going to explode thing? Let them enjoy their weather because that’s a soft sports town. Boston keeps winning. The Boston sports clean sweep is in play. The Red Sox and Patriots have already won. Now it’s the Celtics and Bruins turn. a 4-month-old baby has already seen more championships than the entire city of Cleveland. Wow. It feels great to love a city that just wins.

I have a serious question for people. How many quarterbacks are better than Jared Goof right now? Let me know @treydaubert
