Sports Media
The stuff coming out of Barstool Sports has been unique, to say the least, especially over the last year or so. The latest in the weird drama was the whole debacle when Alex Bennett and Jordyn Woodruff, hosts of The Mean Girl podcast, willingly shared that they don’t wash their hands after going to the bathroom. That is a whole other topic of discussion better suited for another article. But for Kelly Keegs, she had enough.
Kelly Keegs went scorched earth on The Mean Girls. You can read what she had to say in the article Bagdonas wrote (good stuff, btw). Well, it did not take long for both Bennett and Woodruff to take to their respective social media and respond. First, we start with Woodruff.
She starts immediately by deflecting. Woodruff says that when they record, they send about 14-17 clips to the social media people, and THEY decide what goes out.
Woodruff then goes on to defend the integrity of the podcast, saying she knows behind the scenes the pod had meaningful conversations. She talks about how she, Alex and Alanna have become best friends and, at times when talking with best friends, silly things happen. She goes on to talk about how blindsided she was by the Keegs article. I won’t spoil the entire thing, give it a listen.
Next, comes Alex Bennett.
She has no reply at all to Kelly Keegs destroying her. She takes the time to talk to those having a hard time. She just wants people to surround themselves with people that make them happy. Never once does she discuss the article. Not really a response.
This whole situation reeks of weirdness. Grown adults in Alex Bennett and Jordyn Woodruff admit they don’t wash their hands, a co-worker takes issue with it and said individuals have basically no response. Maybe it doesn’t really bother them? I know if Chickster wrote an article about me tearing me to shreds, best believe I am coming back hot and ready like a Little Caesars pizza. Maybe that’s just me.
