AEW: Fight Forever has been the talk of the professional wrestling gaming world. The game is highly anticipated, but fans are starting to get impatient.
Since the game was announced, fans have been clamoring to play the game. It’s rare that there is a professional wrestling game outside of WWE, but the release of the game hasn’t been smooth. The game has constantly been delayed.
It was originally reported that AEW failed to get a ‘T for Teen’ rating, but those reports were reportedly not true. More recently, the release date for the game was reportedly leaked.
AEW: Fight Forever reportedly had the release date leaked. Best Buy had the game set to release on March 31 on their website. This made fans everywhere assume that was the release date. However, there has not been an official release date announced by AEW as of yet.
Max Everett of Sportskeeda reported that AEW reportedly said the release date was “not accurate” and “not confirmed.” AEW also reportedly claimed that some websites will put up a “dummy date” as a placeholder. This is what seems to be the case with this.
Additionally, the cover of the game that was featured on the website for AEW: Fight Forever was the placeholder version with CM Punk. AEW confirmed CM Punk was not on the cover and that was just a placeholder for the new cover, which features Kenny Omega.
