Aaron Rodgers Is Proof The Jets Ruin Everything They Touch

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Can we just be honest about the Jets? They suck. They have always sucked. Over and over again this franchise proves one thing that stays consistent. The Jets never have a quarterback because they ruin the one they have regardless of who it is. Aaron Rodgers putting together a career-worst season only further proves this franchise ruins everything they touch.

Not that we didn’t see this coming from a mile away. Part of the problem with Rodgers right now is that the Jets decided to go all in with an old quarterback before they were truly ready to win. It also doesn’t help that they have made disastrous head coaching hires like clockwork. Rodgers days of being an elite option at the position were over four years ago. That part can’t be ignored.

However, Rodgers looks way worse than he actually should or would if he played for a functional franchise. Rodgers, 40, has a 15-7 TD to INT ratio through ten games. Back in 2021, that number was 37-4. The Rodgers we’re seeing right now is by far the worst we’ve seen and I’m not sure it’s arguable. Use whatever number you want. The Rodgers we’re seeing right now is a shell of himself.

Rodgers has his own set of issues but we know what the real problem is. The Jets continue to be the Jets. They ruined Sam Darnold. Now he’s quarterbacking a legitimate contender in Minnesota. If the Jets drafted Lamar Jackson, he would be out of the league and would go down as a bust. You and I both know how this works.

What more evidence do we need? If Rodgers looks this bad with the Jets, they’re just never going to get it right. This franchise is cursed. Woody Johnson needs to sell the team or nothing will change.
