I seriously cannot comprehend why so many people hate Aaron Rodgers. Are you jealous of him? Well, I am too, that doesn’t mean I just try to crap on the guy at any point. In all seriousness, what has he done to justify this hate? I am simply unable to find a reason. Sure he might be a little weird, but that’s a hell of a stretch to just hate anything and everything he does.
Aaron Rodgers agreed to an absolutely ridiculous extension, and he deserves every penny. Did he take a long time to make a decision? Sure, but it was a major decision! This man was on the fence about retiring, leaving a team he’s been with his whole life, and leaving a city where he is basically God, and he ultimately decided to come back. I do not blame him for wanting to leave the Packers, they’ve been a bad front office for most of the last decade. He’s a four-time NFL MVP and is coming off back-to-back MVPs, the man has earned the right to make any and every decision about his future, and if you think otherwise you need to reevaluate your decision-making skills.
If you were the best in the entire world at your job, wouldn’t you want to have all the say in the world on your future? Wouldn’t you want to pick where you wanted to work or go out on your own terms? I think you would, and I think it’s fair to say Aaron Rodgers wants to as well.
So why do people hate him? Enjoy the greatness, enjoy the fact that he’s the best quarterback in NFL history, and enjoy the fact that you get to watch him at his peak because we don’t truly appreciate things until it’s too late and they’re gone. If you hate him, tell me why because it’s ridiculous.
