2019 Fantasy football content rolls right along here at Vendetta. Nobody will give you better fantasy football advice so pay attention. Look, nailing the big name guys is important. Still, often times it’s the sleepers that win you fantasy leagues. Josh Allen was the number one fantasy quarterback the last 5 weeks of the season. Can you believe it? That’s the kind of thing you need to win. Especially for real men that play two quarterback leagues. Let’s check out which quarterbacks you should target as sleepers!

2019 Fantasy Football Quarterback Sleepers
6: Philip Rivers (Los Angeles Chargers)
Philip Rivers always gets a ton of disrespect in fantasy. I’m not quite sure why. You can basically put 30 touchdowns and 4,000 yards on the board every year. I’m not sure what more you want? For whatever reason, it always flys under the radar. Over the last 6 years, Rivers has averaged 30.8 passing touchdowns per year. He’s as consistent as it gets.
5: Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills)
Josh Allen has a pathway to becoming an elite fantasy quarterback. Allen’s rushing ability caught me by surprise last year. Allen ran for 631 yards and 8 touchdowns as a rookie. If he maintains that rushing success and ups his passing totals, this is the best fantasy quarterback there is. Not arguable. Not saying it’s a lock but this is a wide range of outcomes. What if Allen throws even 25 touchdowns and replicates that rushing success. That’s big time stuff right there.
4: Kyler Murray (Arizona Cardinals)
I truly don’t know if Kyler Murray is going to make it. What I do know is there is some Chip Kelly feel to it here. They are going to catch people by surprise in year one. Quarterbacks that run are always valuable. Murray rushed for over 1,000 yards in college in 2018. He also has a rocket arm. Arizona’s defense also stinks. Murray has a very high ceiling. Something that is worth taking a shot on.
3: Sam Darnold (New York Jets)
The public is way too low on Sam Darnold. This is the youngest starting quarterback ever in the history of the NFL. There was obviously going to be an adjustment period. Darnold was the best quarterback statistically over the last 3 weeks of the season. 5 touchdowns no picks. Darnold is going to make it. Now he gets Adam Gase and a much improved team. The offensive line still blows but the Jets should be better. This secondary is also made of swiss cheese so there is a potential for shootouts. That’s great for fantasy value.
2: Jimmy Garappolo (San Francisco 49ers)
This one boggles my mind. I get that the sample size isn’t large, but the guy doesn’t lose when he plays. If you just get rid of the 2018 season which was lost via injury anyway, Jimmy G is 7-0 as a starting quarterback. Kyle Shanahan turned Matt Ryan into an MVP. Why can’t that happen to Garoppolo who is way more athletically gifted? I’m all in on San Fran.
1: Jameis Winston (Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
In terms of fantasy value, there is no better value than Jameis Winston. It’s just a fact. In 2018, the Tampa Bay quarterback finished as the number two fantasy quarterback behind just Patrick Mahomes. Winston has everything working in his favor to put up monster numbers. Bruce Arians
