Connor Bedard Roasted Paul Bissonnette on NHL on TNT Set
It turns out that Conor Bedard isn’t a total robot. Has anyone else used Chat GPT yet? It’s not capable of being funny. Bedard joined the NHL on TNT set during the Stanley Cup Finals between Florida and Vegas. Bedard wasn’t timid at all and made his mark. This is a must see clip of Bedard totally roasting Paul Bissonnette.

“I mean, it’s pretty crazy,” Bedard said in response to McHugh’s question about this being the new normal for the 17-year-old. “I’m super grateful. Like, the NHL doing this is incredible for me and the other three prospects to come and see a couple of pretty good players on this panel… and Biz is here too.”
Biz, AKA Paul Bissonnette, is one of the premier hosts on the Spittin Chiclets Barstool podcast. The highlights of his playing career, however, can basically be summed up by his on-ice fighting feud with Ryan Reaves? Biz has 22 career NHL points in six NHL seasons. How many games does it take for Bedard to pass that number? I think that’s the real topic at hand that needs to be asked.
Bedard, 17, is wildly expected to become the first pick in the 2023 NHL Draft. Bedard is considered a generational talent and a player that can change the outlook for an entire franchise. Chicago Blackhawk fans have to be happy about the part that Bedard is human. He’s actually funny. The talent was already there. It seems like Bedard has the personality for what’s going to be asked of him too.
