Impact Wrestling Set To Launch NFT’s

Impact Wrestling is one of the most popular professional wrestling companies in the United States. They have been around for over 20 years and counting, and have featured some of the biggest stars in the world. Now, Impact Wrestling is dipping its toes into the world of NFTs.

What Is An NFT?

NFTs have taken the world by storm over the last couple of years. NFT stands for Non-Fungible Tokens and is a unique digital asset. They are not interchangeable and each NFT is one of a kind. Each NFT holds a value of its own, which is essentially whatever people are willing to pay for it. Also, Prices can go up and down on them.

Impact Wrestling NFTs:

The General NFT Pass will be Impact’s first NFT. Following that, the company will have a Santino Marella NFT launching in June, while a Mickie James NFT will be launched in the summer as well. There will be 100 copies of the Santino Marella NFT and each one will come with a few things. You will have access to an exclusive Impact Wrestling Discord channel, a chance to win a personal phone call from Santino Marella, a community chat with Santino and an exclusively signed photo. Mickie James’s NFTs will have the same features.

“We are very excited to move into the NFT industry-something we have been studying for quite some time,” Impact Wrestling president Scott D’Amore said via release. “The NFT opportunities are endless and we are certain that our loyal fans will be thrilled with the IMPACT NFTs.”

NFT Industry:

The NFT Industry has grown substantially over the past couple of years. In 2021, trading NFTs grew over 21,000 percent — an increase of $17 billion — from 2020. Impact has always been one to try to find new ways to succeed in wrestling. While they aren’t the first professional wrestling company to offer NFTs, they are certainly at the forefront of it.
