Men Of Honor Featuring Jeff Nadu and Kirk Minihane

There you have it, folks. Not long after I speculated Jeff Nadu joining the Pick Em Show, we have some news. Nadu and Kirk Minihane are teaming up for a new college basketball podcast at Barstool.

After Nadu moved away from the RoundBall Podcast, we have now seen the pivot from Barstool. As soon as the news was announced, it took Twitter by storm:

As you can see, the guys wasted little time. The comments on Twitter on both Portnoy’s and Minihane’s posts are divisive at best. How is Rico Bosco gonna respond to this? Tension is clearly brewing more and more and has been for a while.

Nadu is also making his feelings very clear on Bosco and his departure with the following tweet:

Nadu is now gonna have a real shot to prove his worth. Obviously, everyone in the company wants to succeed, but there is apparently something more at work here. In his article, he tried to explain his side of the beef between him and Rico.

An excerpt from the Barstool piece states:

“He [Rico] paints me as someone not on his level, but I am. I am engaging, critical, willing to push back and have one of the best college basketball minds on the planet. We’ve begun to very much realize that with him and I together doing content is way better than him not doing content outside Dave and Dan. In a month Rico, college hoops will be the only game in town. We have the ability to create something that could truly change the trajectories of both of our careers.”

He makes a great point.

With the College Football Playoff around the corner and Super Bowl not too long after, basketball will take center stage. Companies everywhere are going to be covering college basketball ahead of March Madness.

While speculation about Rico Bosco’s future is running rampant, now is the time to put the money where your mouth is. If he does end up on BetQL, it will be interesting to see how it stacks up with this new podcast from Barstool.

Ultimately, The Men of Honor podcast should feature both Minihane and Nadu doing what they do best. While it’s yet to be determined when the first episode will be released, you should all mark your calendars. It feels like this is only the beginning.
