Furthermore, any official statement will be made by Tony Khan or AEW. It is easy to replicate the official statements AEW puts out. As you can see from the statement above, it looks legit, but it is fabricated. While AEW has reportedly suspended those involved in the incident, they haven’t suspended Punk or Steel. As reported by Sports Illustrated, a decision will be made on whether to release or suspend Punk and Steel by the end of today.
