Has Barstool Sports Lost Their Winning Mentality?
I have a real issue with an article that Big T wrote recently. Big T is one of Barstool’s writer that fits their new identity. Back in the day they were Milton Tough. Dave Portnoy’s motto is the hungry dog runs faster. He forgot his own lesson.
This isn’t really a shot at Portnoy. He deserves to enjoy his life. I know how much work it takes to build a successful media company and I haven’t made close to amount of money he has. Been around the game a long time. Nobody is blaming him for packing it in during Summer time.
In reality, this has everything to do with the team he’s put around him. There are no dogs. Nobody with his mentality or work ethic. He’s hired a workforce of untalented schmucks that wouldn’t know what hard work was if it slapped them in the face. Add Big T to that list. His Nick Saban article was as pathetic as it gets.
I have news for Big T. 2021 was a rebuilding year for Nick Saban and if you don’t understand that, not enough bad things happened to you in your life. Alabama didn’t win the National Title and only had two players taken in the first round of the draft. One of which was an Ohio State transfer. That’s what a rebuilding year is called for someone who is successful in life.
Alabama will be back don’t you worry. I’m not an Alabama fan but I know how Nick Saban thinks. It’s because that’s how winners think. Bryce Young just won the Heisman and is back. Will Anderson might be the best player in the country and he’s back too. The Tide had a young team last year and their top end talent is mostly all returning. That’s what a rebuilding year is called in college football.
I’m sorry Portnoy but you need to wake up. How can you possibly sit there and assemble a staff full of soft inbred idiots? That’s not Barstool? You’re letting all real talented people leave like Jared Carrabis and Coley Mick. You know, the ones who get it and aren’t mentally soft.
The hungry dog runs faster. You have no idea how hungry I am. You will be seeing a lot of me in the future. Don’t you worry. I have a ton of admiration and respect for Dave. The truth of the matter is, his company is over run by losers. Sad but true. Metallica. End of blog.
