EA Sports College Football Has A Possible July 2023 Release Date

Fans of EA Sports’ iconic college football video game, NCAA Football, can once again rejoice as there is news surrounding the game’s return.

Sports gamers everywhere have been waiting for the day when they could play NCAA Football again. According to documents obtained by Extra Points’ Matt Brown, EA Sports is targeting a July 2023 release date. If the timeline remains, it will mark ten years between the updated version and the last NCAA Football game to release. The series will also undergo another name change as the next game will be titled EA Sports College Football. Nevertheless, there has been a hole in the hearts of sports gamers since EA Sports discontinued its beloved series. 

The original NCAA Football game were discontinued due to legal issues. Collegiate players did not like that they were unable to profit from their name, image and likeness that was being used in the video games. Athletes did not receive any compensation while EA Sports made a lot of money from the games. However, now the NCAA allows players to profit off their name, image and likeness. What does this mean? Well, EA Sports can now put the athletes’ names into the game, allowing players to profit off of such exposure.

NCAA Football was always a fan favorite of the gaming community, and it grew in popularity every year. There was always intrigue over who would grace the cover of the game for that year. The last game in the series was NCAA Football 14. Subsequently, the burning desire for a new NCAA Football game has only grown as it has been nearly a decade since people received a new title. 

NCAA FOOTBALL IS COMING BACK – LETS GO!

Finally, the series will be returning after all this time. Also, fans now have a month to mark on their calendar. As mentioned above, July 2023 will hopefully be the month that EA Sports College Football hits next-generation consoles. Gamers will welcome back the franchise with open arms. Furthermore, it will be introduced to an entirely new generation of gamers that have never got to play a new college football game.
