Drake London Is Basically Undraftable In NFL Fantasy 2022

Why would anyone take Drake London in Fantasy this year? There are so many things that are working against him. First of all, he’s not good. The fact that the Falcons chose him as the first WR off the board and at 8 no less is a mistake by them no doubt. But if you’re expecting Drake London to be some kind of Fantasy Juggernaut, you’re sorely mistaken.

Maybe you don’t believe us at Vendetta when we say he’s not good. Fine, be dumb, but let’s talk about the situation in Atlanta then. It’s very important to analyze the situation around fantasy prospects and Drake London’s is…not great. First, they have Marcus Mariota at the helm, so you’re not off to a hot start. You’re not sold that Mariota finishes the season as the starting QB, fine let’s look at the backup…oh it’s Desmond Ridder. How promising, not. Doesn’t matter who’s at the QB, Drake London is screwed in that department.

Well, he has a chance in the WR room, right? Well…technically he might be the de facto WR1, but how confident are we that he can be that guy. Remember that the Falcons still do have Cordarrelle Patterson, who was the primary option for the Falcons last year for running the ball and receiving. The Falcons did pick Kyle Pitts with the 4th overall pick in 2021 last year. After a slow start, he started coming into his own last year. Those are two options that are better receiving options than London. Also, Matt Ryan isn’t mobile and can simply throw better than Mariota and Desmond Ridder. I can see a very run-heavy offense with Mariota and Patterson leading the way. Then the receiving options still have Patterson and then Kyle Pitts, how much will Drake London actually be seeing the ball. Olamide Zaccheaus didn’t see the ball all that much with a throwing QB and being behind Pitts, Patterson, and Russell Gage last year.

I’d advise not to draft Drake London this year for fantasy. Let someone else be dumb and think they’re getting a solid product for Fantasy because he was a top 10 pick. The Falcons’ offense might suck, they might be okay, but Drake London won’t be getting any solid fantasy production for you, he’s a fantasy bust this year. DO NOT DRAFT.
