Hockey Guy Trey Goes For Fantasy Glory S2: Semis, Day 2-3

Hockey Guy Trey goes for fantasy glory. We have updates from day2,3 from the semi finals. The Irish are up to no good.

Hockey Guy Trey Goes For Fantasy Glory S2: Semis, Day 2-3

Hockey Guy Trey got some bad news to start the day. David Pastrnak and Jack Hughes missed the Tuesday slate of games. As of right now, we’re unsure when Pasta will return. The Pastrnak injury seems more minor. Given where the Devils are in the standings, shutting Hughes down for the season probably makes sense, which is exactly what happened. Can’t blame them. Hughes is damn good.

We will do whatever is necessary to defeat the Irish. Even if it means licking a few feet to get there. (Lyndon Toe/Vendetta Sports Media)

That means we had to make two roster moves prior to the game. Drew Doughty was released off IR. As was Andrew Hammond. Doughty probably won’t be back before the start of the playoffs (if the Kings even make it there. If he returns, so be it. It’s playoff time and we need guys in the lineup now. Hughes and Pasta are on IR for now as we wait for their return.

For now, Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond will join the squad. Both are recent departures of Gavin’s team. They may or may not be long term parts of the equation. That part is yet to be determined. Both were picked up before the games tonight.

I’m combining this blog into two days because my computer went to shit. I blame the Irish. The haters can’t keep me down. We have extended the lead to 64.6. That should probably do it but we got a week and a half more of this.

The Florida Panthers went insane. Two goals and three assists for Jonathan Huberdeau. A goal and three assists for Aleksander Barkov. Those tow guys are nuts and helping carry me.

I did not expect Larkin to get the first Hockey Guy Trey video but here we are. Lucas Raymond got an assist. Larkin now has 8.8 fantasy points since picking him up off the waiver wire. Maybe I have to keep him? Raymond… not so much.

Freddie Anderson stunk against the Sabres but that’s okay. Jake Oettinger chipped in with a win Tuesday and Jacob Markstrom got one on Wednesday.

Oh, McDavid scored too but I was asleep.

Blame the Irish. I got something coming for them.
