A developing story from Canadian news organization Journal de Montreal is reporting a possible hostage situation at Ubisoft’s Montreal office. The news has just now begun circulating on Twitter, as video shows what looks to be Ubisoft employee’s on a rooftop.
It is still unclear exactly what is happening at the moment. Multiple eye witness reports of employees running out of the with their hands up and police with guns drawn pointing at the building. Some employees have been tweeting about the situation, stating that they are safe.
The entire event is relatively new. Just a few hours ago, Ubisoft’s official Twitter account tweeted a calming video from their newest game Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
