Monopoly isn’t that different from fantasy football. Sure, there is *some* luck involved; however, the person who wins usually it isn’t by accident. There’s a right and wrong way to do everything in life… including Monopoly.
If you never want to lose another game of Monopoly again, without cheesing and ripping people off in trades, here’s the fail-proof strategy for you to consider.
Winning Monopoly isn’t about collecting the prettiest properties. It’s about analyzing the overall liquidity in the game. The chart above analyzes the cost to build each house along with the number of turns around the board needed to make it worth your while.
Here’s the truth. You can win any game of Monopoly by just owning the light blues. Most people lose patience and want to get their monopoly quickly. That’s okay… just know how to proceed when and if that happens.
What I’m essentially telling you to do is to track the number of times you Pass Go. If you haven’t gone around the board at least ten times, you’re an idiot if you’re targeting the green and dark blue properties. The overall available money within the game itself determines which monopolies are the ones to target.
Yes, you can cripple anyone with loaded up green and dark blue monopolies. You’re just not going to if you don’t have the necessary capital to do so. The best and easiest way to eliminate people is by getting the light blue, pink, and orange monopoly set to cripple the competition early enough to where they can’t come back. The opposite is true for very long games. If it’s been an insane amount of time before anyone has collected a monopoly, aim higher, build those houses, and win the game.
If you’re smart, you will never lose another game of Monopoly again. Remember…
You don’t win by collecting the prettiest properties. You win by turning liquidity into pressure.
You’re welcome.
