Who The Fuck Is That Guy is here to stay. For those of you that have never heard of the Who The Fuck Is That Guy series or have never seen an episode of the Vendetta Sports Fantasy Show, get on it. Who The Fuck Is That Guy is how we end almost every episode of the Vendetta Sports Fantasy Show. Everyone gives a random player that no one knows about and no one will ever draft. Yet somehow, someway they will win you your fantasy league. Today we’re taking a look at Malik Taylor, wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers.

Background Information

Malik Taylor was an undrafted free agent from the 2019 NFL Draft. Originally signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Taylor ended up on the Green Bay Packers practice squad for the 2019 season. Taylor stands at 6-2 and weighs 216 pounds. He has the size to be a good jump ball receiver, at this point Aaron Rodgers needs something outside of Adams. Malik Taylor isn’t lacking in speed either, he ran a sub 4.5 at his pro day. Taylor has the potential to emerge as the WR2 in Green Bay. The Packers failed to improve the pass catching group in the off-season so now is the time for Taylor to step up.

College Production

Malik Taylor played his college football at Ferris State University. As a Bulldog, Taylor put up 121 catches for 2091 yards in his career. In 2017 he saw his best year when Taylor had 61 catches for 906 yards. Taylor averaged 17.3 yards per catch throughout his college career. Big play potential is what’s needed in fantasy football and Taylor can produce.

Path To Playing Time

Malik Taylor’s path to playing time is a bit of a long one. To begin, he’s buried in the crapshoot that is the Green Bay Packers’ depth chart. However, given how there is nobody outside of Davante Adams. Malik Taylor needs to make some plays in practice and show Aaron Rodgers that he can trust him. If Rodgers trusts Taylor then he can become one of many wide receiver sleepers for fantasy football.
