ESPN, Bart Scott Doesn’t Fact-Check Anything Before Going Live
ESPN is a laughing stock, and today was a prime example as to why most casual sports fans are going elsewhere for their information. They are so out of touch and desperate for views they will hire just about anyone, see Bart Scott. Today, Scott proved that ESPN doesn’t fact-check anything, and this needs to be addressed because it’s hilarious.
*I had a tweet of the actual video, but the person who tweeted it out has since deleted it. Plus, I bet ESPN realized the issue and had all videos struck down*
Bart Scott went on LIVE TV on ESPN and told the world that the acquisition of Justin Fields is going to save Omar Khan’s job. That he was at risk because of the Pickett draft pick and taking Najee Harris in the first round. This really proved that the numbskulls at ESPN don’t fact-check anything. Either that or Scott is too stupid to do it himself. Both are honestly probably the case. Omar Khan was not responsible for either of those picks. Instead, he is currently owning that dope Ryan Poles and the Bears.
Personally, I make sure to have my facts straight before I go talking about something. I couldn’t look myself in the mirror and take myself seriously as someone in media if I went on a recording and was talking sideways. Clearly, this doesn’t bother Bart Scott and the folks at ESPN, because they can go out and say whatever they want. I have another example.
Smooth-brained Bart Scott was convinced the new kickoff format was a great idea until he learned about the new onside kick rule. Hey Bart, how about you inform yourself of everything on a matter before going on live tv and talking about it? That’s a tall task for Scott, apparently. ESPN really laid off all those people and looked at Scott and said “yup, that’s our guy right there”. What a joke.
With this ESPN merger happening soon with FOX and Warner Bros., I hope they realize that televising people who have zero knowledge of basically anything is a detriment to their product and should take a second look at who they are sending out on TV every day. Bart Scott is an embarrassment to ESPN and to himself, really.
