Colorado Lands Five-Star Offensive Lineman Jordan Seaton

Deion Sanders and Colorado Football have made another splash on the recruiting trail. The Buffaloes have landed five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton. Seaton announced his commitment on Undisputed Thursday morning.

Seaton finished his high school football at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. The 6-foot-5, 287-pound tackle is the No. 15 player and No. 1 offensive tackle in the class of 2023, according to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.

In 2023, Colorado exceeded expectations as they finished 4-8. It is not a secret that Colorado lost games because of its play in the trenches. On the offensive side of the ball, the offensive line could not protect star quarterback Shedeur Sanders.

Seaton is an outstanding solution to Colorado’s woes. The Buffaloes have proven to be an attractive option through the transfer portal; however, building the trenches through the portal is quite difficult. Therefore, Sanders hit the high school ranks and landed the best option.

At the moment, Seaton projects to start as a true freshman. It is difficult to keep five stars off the field. That is even more true considering Colorado’s need at the position.

Sanders has been bringing talent to Boulder, but Seaton is the first elite offensive lineman to join the program. Previously, Sanders brought elite skill players like Travis Hunter and Cormani McClain.

Colorado’s incoming recruiting class is smaller with only ten recruits. It does have quality, however. Alongside Seaton, the Buffaloes are adding four four-star recruits. That includes two defensive linemen and two athletes.

Colorado landed Seaton over Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Ohio State, Oregon and others.
