Colorado Lands 2025 Four-Star Quarterback Antwann Hill Jr.

Colorado Football has landed 2025 four-star quarterback Antwann Hill Jr., according to Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Hill played his high school football at Houston County High School in Warner Robbins, Georgia. According to 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Hill is currently the No. 66 player and No. 6 quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class.

Hill explained his decision to On3.

“What led me there is, first, their communication. They always communicated with me since the time 12:00 am hit that morning on Aug 1st. To sum it up I can tell they really care about me and want me to take over the program when Shedeur leaves. So whenever Coach Prime said that, I knew he was being 100% honest with me and I knew I would be a fool not take this opportunity that Coach Prime had provided me with.”

Deion Sanders is not new to landing high-profile recruits. In the 2023 cycle, he brought Cormani McClain to Colorado. In the 2022 cycle, he landed Travis Hunter.

Hill will be the highest-rated quarterback that Sanders has landed as a head coach. For reference, Shadeur Sanders was also a four-star, but he was ranked outside the top 100 players in his class.

Hill will not be the last highly touted recruit that Sanders lands. Sanders was already nabbing top recruits before finding success in the Power Five. With Colorado exceeding expectations, success on the recruiting trail should only continue.

Colorado’s 2025 Recruiting Class has a strong foundation despite the cycle being in its earliest stages. Alongside Hill, four-star receiver Winston Watkins Jr. and three-star running back Jamarice Wilder have committed to the Buffaloes.
