Never Forget Craig Carton Said He Wouldn’t Trade Zach Wilson For Josh Allen

Zach Wilson stinks. Even Joe Namath hates him now. I never want to be the person to bury a quarterback too early but we’re now three years into this Zach Wilson thing and he still looks lost. It’s not even that, I just have no idea what skill he has that can be built upon. It doesn’t look like he belongs at the NFL level. Let’s just make sure we don’t let Craig Carton forget about his comments.

“Not me,” Carton replied. “Josh Allen’s a problem. I’d rather have Zach Wilson.”

What an idiot. Even Griff’s brain-dead blog wasn’t as bad of a take. Carton would take Wilson over Allen. That’s not even a take. That’s a take that should get you fired.

I’m not going to sit here and act like I know everything about Craig Carton. If I was in the New York radio market, I’d likely have more dirt on the guy. I don’t need any more dirt. I do know that he went to jail, which means that Fox Sports was interested and immediately gave him a pay raise. That’s the company they run though so no surprise there.

We can’t let this guy off the hook, right? If I said something like this, I think I’d retire from sports writing out of shame. I’d quit of out embarrassment. I guess I’m just built differently. It seems like Carton sleeps just fine at night knowing that he’s a brain-dead criminal. Can’t even make it up. Fox Sports loves hiring wackos, huh?
