The Super Mario Bros Movie Review

I actually got a chance to see two new movies recently. I went to the theaters for the first time in probably ten years to see Barbie. I just don’t think I’m qualified to review it. Maybe we can get Jamie or someone else to do that review. However, I also saw the Super Mario Bros movie and it did not disappoint.

As always, I try to keep the spoilers to a minimum. With that said, the only thing that I can really say is that you need to go watch this movie. This is the perfect type of movie that’s for all ages. As long as you’re slightly familiar with the Mario series, I promise you that you will laugh at more than one scene. Even then, it’s still funny even if you have no idea who the characters are.

This movie does such a great job making it funny while also tying in parts of past video games. The scenes of Mario Kart are just perfect. The storyline was super engaging to follow and I never felt bored for a second while watching. It also had some underlying messages that were super inspiring.

I’m not even joking, I think this is one of my favorite movies of all time. I wouldn’t even consider myself a crazy Mario fan. I just thought the movie was truly that good. It also sounds like we’re getting a sequel down the line too, which is even better news.

I highly recommend this movie. It’s worth the watch. It’s close to a perfect 10 rating for me. I got hype off the trailer and they did not disappoint.
