Jamie Hayter set to miss AEW: All In

AEW

Fans in England are set to miss out with former AEW Women’s Champion Jamie Hayter deemed unavailable for All In at Wembley.

Hayter lost her title to Toni Storm at Double or Nothing in May, dropping the title whilst nursing a shoulder injury before taking time off to recover. However, her return doesn’t appear likely to come any time soon.

It was noted by Dave Meltzer during last week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there had been talk that she won’t make it back for the Wembley show. This was obviously the goal with Hayter hailing from Southampton, England.

More was reported via Fightful Select, confirming Meltzer’s own report and adding that there is no timetable for a potential return. It was also noted that a 2023 return altogether would be “unexpected”.

According to their report, there were tentative ideas and hopes that Hayter could make it back in what was described as a “featured role”, but things appear worse with her injury than first anticipated.

However, there was a more positive update on fellow women’s talents Madison Rayne, The Bunny, and Thunder Rosa, with there supposedly being positive motion on AEW getting them back into the fold.

Elsewhere in Pro Wrestling: Von Erich family biopic gets release date

Full story by Faden Cloete

Only one Von Erich remains from their legendary pro wrestling family, Kevin Von Erich, who will be portrayed by Zac Efron in the upcoming ‘Iron Claw’ biopic.

Joining Zac Efron as the other Von Erich brothers, Jeremy Allen White will play Kerry, with Harris Dickinson as David. AEW World Champion MJF will portray Lance Von Erich – a kayfabe member of the family. Additionally, WWE star Dolph Ziggler will play Gino Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero Jr. will take up the role of The Iron Sheik.

The biopic will hit theaters on December 22, 2023. The tragic story of the Von Erichs is close to wrestling fans’ hearts, and as such Zac Efron’s portrayal will be held to a high standard. Kevin Von Erich sadly lost all of his brothers and father by 1997, making him the last of his siblings. Kerry, Mike, and Chris Von Erich all took their own lives in a span of seven years.
