The Bulls are not good. But when you have teams that aren’t good, some players really stand out. Tomas Satoransky does a little bit of everything for the Bulls. His presence on the court for the Bulls is often crucial to how well they do. If you don’t believe me, you just simply haven’t been watching enough. Although the Bulls themselves have been tough to watch. Watching Tomas Satoransky has been fun as he has been a utility knife for the Bulls.

Tomas Satoransky Stats

Tomas Satoransky averages 10.3 PPG on 45% shooting, 3.6 RPG, and 5.3 APG. He leads the Bulls in assists per game. He has 1.3 more assists than the Bulls best player, Zach Lavine. As we can tell by his balanced stats, he can take over offensively or facilitate the ball. Even though he usually plays the 1-3 position, he’s not shy about getting after rebounds. He is also technically 6th on the team for scoring. But as mentioned, no one comes close to averaging as many assists as he does. In my opinion, after Zach Lavine, he is probably their most important player. The only other player I can see that might be more important is Lauri Markkanen, who is underperforming.

Tomas Satoransky isn’t one of those players that are going to lit up the stat sheet. But he’s one of those players that most NBA teams need. A player that can do anything you ask him too. After the season, the Bulls still have Satoransky for 2 more seasons on a friendly 10 million a year deal. He has improved every season he’s been in the NBA. He will be an important part of the Bulls’ success as the Bulls continue to rebuild to try to be a contender again. Time will tell if the Bulls keep him around if they ever become a contender again.
