Le’Veon Bell Thinks The Jets Can Go Undefeated The Rest Of The Season

Some people can’t be helped. Le’Veon Bell is one of them. Whatever it is. He just doesn’t get it. Bell just sat out the whole year and threw millions down the toilet and still thinks he made the right choice. If Bell would have had a productive 2018 season, he probably could have beat the Todd Gurley contract. Instead, he settled for way less. He’s lucky he even got $52.5 million. The Jets were the only team dumb enough to give it to him. If Bell has done one thing right, he’s been a team player with New York.

Bell is all in on the Jets. Despite the fact that Sam Darnold is out with Mono and Trevor Siemian was lost for the season, Bell doesn’t sense panic. Yeah, okay, pal.

I don’t sense a panic,” running back Le’Veon Bell said, via Newsday.com. “We have 14 more games left. We can win 14 games. I’m confident this team can win 14 games. We just got to put everything together.”

I don’t understand. Luke Falk is about to go on a 14 game winning streak and nail down the AFC East? Get the hell out of here. It amazes me how stupid some players sound. This is why the Jets are the Jets and the Patriots are the Patriots. The Jets season is over. There’s no reason to even put this quote out there. Just say “we’re not quitting on the season, we believe in the guys in this locker room” Done. End of quote. Instead, Bell made himself sound dumb.

The Jets early season schedule is brutal. Trust me, I’m going through it on my Jets Madden series. The Jets will play the Patriots, Eagles, Cowboys, and Patriots over the next few years. They will have to win those games without Sam Darnold. Stick a fork in the Jets now.
