2025 NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 10

Week 10 is in the books and we have plenty to talk about. The 2025 NFL Draft picture is starting to crystalize. Let’s talk about who stood out for better or worse in this week’s edition of the 2025 NFL Draft Stock Report!

The 2025 NFL Draft Stock Report slate for Week 10 includes… Ohio State vs. Penn State, Duke vs. Miami, Oregon vs. Michigan, Florida vs. Georgia, Texas A&M vs. South Carolina, and Louisville vs. Clemson.

Before we jump into the notes, check out the best odds by FanDuel to get in on the action!

Ohio State

This Ohio State offensive line is a mess. Donovan Jackson is a really good guard but has now been forced to play left tackle. He actually did a really good job for the most part. Abdul Carter got him a couple of times and they helped plenty trying to chip the edge. Still, he more than did his part and most random guards would have been pulverized. His stock deserves a bump and looks like he has a real future as a guard at the NFL level. Considering how makeshift this offensive line was, they did a really good job and Jackson was the leader of that group.

Will Howard is hot garbage. I won’t apologize for it. This dude has an All-Star team around him (minus the suspect offensive line). Pick six in the first quarter was brutal. I said it during the Oregon game and I’ll say it again. This Howard should be ashamed of himself. He doesn’t belong on the field and is totally undraftable. When Kansas State gets rid of you, there is a reason. Chip Kelly is the play caller. An advantage 99% of quarterbacks don’t have. Ohio State botched this big time. Throw all the numbers out the window. The more you watch him, doesn’t my Will Levis with less arm power comp look spot on?

Let’s be honest about it. Marvin Harrison Jr. wrecked the game in back-to-back years. Now Ohio State doesn’t have him anymore. It’s an enormous difference but still no excuse. Multiple NFL receivers on this team and the freshman Smith isn’t exactly a normal freshman. How about that wide open ball Tate should have had in the second quarter? Except it didn’t happen because Howard blows more than a stripper who lets the clients get more handsy than policy allows. He’s got guys running open all over the field. You have to light prayer candles in order to execute basic throws.

I just don’t think people get it. This Ohio State team is loaded. When I say Will Howard should be ashamed of himself, I mean every word of it and that’s being generous. I’m not sure I could be his teammate without choking him. I’m going to stop talking about him now because I’m way too angry typing this for the sole fact that I can’t understand how you load up on this team and put all the faith into Howard making sure they win it.

It’s Will Levis over and over again. He should have had a huge rushing touchdown in the second quarter and fumbles it because that’s who he is. Should change his last name to hot mess. I couldn’t imagine being his teammate. When he fumbled this all I could picture is Homer Simpson choking Bart because that would be me with this clown. He ain’t running away from Abdul Carter either so let’s stop with this oh he can run for all these yards as a duel threat thing. That’s not happening.

Emeka Egbuka found the end zone in this one. Was wide open on a great play call by Chip Kelly. The shades of JSN are obvious. I really don’t know how good the guy is though. Just feels like one of those where you turn the card in the second round and he’s a capable starter. Not an air craft carrier and not unique in the Deebo way to elevate the offense.

Ohio State didn’t have to cover Evan Stewart in this one. That secondary is real legit. Clutch play by Davison Igbinosun before the half. He’s been overly handsy to start the season but he clearly battles and finds the ball. Denzel Burke was awesome in this one too. Those guys won the fight within the fight. When it comes to Igbinosun, the flags will be something to monitor. Super physical but he doesn’t make this play without that element in his game.

I guess I’ll repeat it. I like both backs. Applies to both teams actually. They clearly view Judkins as the starter. Started and finished this game and was moving the sticks to burn the clock. Henderson went for 54 yards on ten carries and had a 20 yard reception. Judkins had 14 carries for 95 yards.

JT Tuimoloau was somewhat noticeable. Jack Sawyer wasn’t noticeable at all. I think the biggest thing plaguing this front is that they have no one to rotate in to give those guys a break. Playing way too many snaps. Just something I’ve noticed.

Penn State

Drew Allar did get the start in this one despite being shaken up with a knee injury last week against Wisconsin. We still saw a fair share of Beau Pribula. He didn’t look 100% but still did enough to pick up key first downs with his legs.

Regardless, let’s just say this. Allar should go back to school. I get that the Ohio State corners are way better than the Penn State wide receivers. It doesn’t excuse the fact that the guy continues to make zero plays down the field. At some point he has to be better than QB draw being his best attribute. Because if this is what I’m getting he’s not even worth talking about.

If he goes in the NFL it’s going to be the Anthony Richardson program all over again. The nicest thing you can say about Allar is that he’s two years away from being two years away. The flashes are cool but there’s no chance he’s ready to play right now if you pick him. I don’t see how anyone advising him doesn’t tell him to go back to school.

Nick Singleton got going in the passing game. Good to see he can catch. I don’t know how the Penn State people feel. He’s way closer to Saquon Barkley than anyone wants to admit in terms of being the best back they have produced there. Led the team with 54 receiving yards. Neither he or Kaytron Allen got going on the ground. Ohio State made Drew Allar beat them and there was no chance he was doing so.

Abdul Carter is just a different breed. Guy rocks. Maybe it’s that number 11 but a five year old who knows nothing could watch that game and knows that guy is not human. Two sacks and two TFLs in this one. It’s crazy because it’s really like watching Micah Parsons all over again.

Caleb Downs was just tracking Ty Warren the whole game. He looked very average. By average I sure as hell would never use that in a sentence when talking about Downs so you figure it out. Had some crazy games in the past but you can’t ignore this. Downs is NFL star good. Can’t imagine this 40 time by Warren is going to be ideal. On the deep shot where Downs wasn’t covering him, he won the 50/50 ball. I honestly don’t know what he is right now, which maybe you can say they don’t know either because he’s lined up all over the field. When I say not ideal too, I mean he’s not bad running in the open field but looks like the engine needs a bit of a jolt to ramp up.

Duke

This Miami defense has been suspect all year but I’m encouraged by what we saw from Maalik Murphy. I’m not sure he sucks. Just a sophomore with room to grow. You can tell he’s still very raw but the tools are there and he’s big at 6-foot-5. Has plus mobility too.

This Chandler Rivers might be something. Did a pretty good job in coverage all things considered. Got beat a few times but overall played well. He had two key pass breakups and a pick in this one. Has looked good pretty much all year.

Miami

Cam Ward. What else is there to say? By the way, Duke is lowkey legit on defense. Manny Diaz has done a good job there and they had SMU beat last week. Except it doesn’t matter. Miami is number one in the country in offense and Ward continues to do what he does. We saw it all and I sound like a broken record at this point. Ball comes out quick. Has all those arm angles. His ability to improvise and make big plays down the field. How do you ignore it? The accuracy while doing all that stuff while in the midst of the second play is impressive.

I don’t think you can ignore the grown man power here. He’s just at a different speed. Totally under control and everything looks easy. If you’re looking for negatives, it’s that he always throws the ball across his body. Threw another pick like that in this game. He’s really good at throwing picks like that. I just think someone will get that out of him eventually. He’s so good with those arm angles he gets greedy. Some of these cross body cheese throws, I just think no way he even attempts those at the NFL level. It’s also a lot of RPO cheese out of shot gun.

His team isn’t playing defense either. He’s just so good that he’s just winning shoot outs. The other quarterback runs out of gas while he scores on virtually every possession. Feels like me playing with the ECU team (iykyk).

Damien Martinez just keeps trucking. It was more of the same. 11 for 66 and kept carrying defenders for extra yardage.

Jacolby George sure had a pop game. Guy made some great plays in this one. Four catches for 74 yards and a score. Xavier Restrepo was out of his mind notching eight receptions for 146 yards and three scores. The quarterback makes the receiver but these guys aren’t bums. That much is obvious. Both these guys are more stout lower to the ground but reliable.

Oregon

First series of the game and Jabbar Muhammad is just wrestling balls away from Colston Loveland? I like this guy. Just competes every time I watch him.

Jordan James is a stud. That’s been established and he was good again in this one. Dillon Gabriel isn’t tall but I’d be very surprised if he doesn’t make the league at some level. Noah Whittington scored twice but wasn’t overly efficient.

Michigan

I won’t lie, I only caught glimpses of this game. This Michigan team is so unwatchable. I am a believer in Colston Loveland and he makes it less unbearable to watch this team. Guy carries the entire passing attack. It’s more like a papercut attack but still. He’s really good. The rest is stinky town. Coaching matters.

Will Johnson didn’t play. Donovan Edwards looked like himself in his lone 10 carries. I think that about covers it.

Florida

Florida would have *probably* won this game if DJ Lagway didn’t blow his hamstring early in the game.

Georgia

Homecoming game for Carson Beck who grew up in Jacksonville rooting for the Gators. This game is always played in Jacksonville as a neutral field. Not to mention the fact that Trevor Etienne went to Florida last year so there’s that.

McConkey and Bowers. It’s all I think about when watching Beck this year. Of course, he’s worse without those guys. However, I think we’re learning he’s way worse and both those guys will be NFL stars. Handling pressure he was a total disaster.

Three picks for Beck in this one and they were all ugly. Let’s not act like Florida is a total punching bag but there really is no excuse for his performance. Bowers and McConkey. It’s the only thing I think about. Boy does he miss those guys. When it comes to the 2025 NFL Draft, how do you value him at this point? Good luck.

Trevor Etienne left the game with a rib injury. You can tell that offense doesn’t function the same without him. Another example of Carson Beck just defining what he is. We’ve seen him be very good with a capable cast of characters. Not so good when he does too much and it’s on him to carry the team.

Arian Smith has taken a leap. Always been fast but more of a real receiver now. Dom Lovett is doing his best to fill that slot role. Dillon Bell is something. Maybe he can be a receiver beyond just a weird gadget tight end.

Texas A&M

It’s Mike Elko’s first year on the job. It’s not flush with his guys yet. With that in mind, not a ton to talk about. Le’Veon Moss got hurt pretty early in the game. A shame because you could feel life wasn’t easier when he left the field. EJ Smith couldn’t get it going with more opportunity. Amari Daniels had one long run. The South Carolina pass rush clearly affected the game and Marcel Reed’s rushing wasn’t a surprise to this SC team.

Nic Scourton didn’t have a crazy game either. Four tackles. Never wrecked the game.

South Carolina

Raheim Sanders looked incredible. Looked fast. Still had power. Best game of his season. Everything you saw all season he just lacked that wow. It was there in this one. In past weeks I talked about how he just looked like a shell of his old self. Not in this one. He was Chris Berman back-back-back.

20 carries for 144 yards and two scores. Also added five receptions for 92 yards. Things really came together in this one. Looked fast. Still maintained the power. Stock way up.

Louisville

Louisville won this game and Tyler Shough didn’t even put up big number. Ja’Corey Brooks never wrecked the game either. Freshy running back had a great game. Louisville got the lead early and then kept piling on a barrage of field goals. That pretty much sums it up.

Clemson

Disastrous L for Clemson. Phil Mafah did his part. Jonathan Stewart except worse? Does that feel accurate?

Six catches for next to no yardage for Antonio Williams but liked what I saw in terms of pure movement skills.

Wade Woodaz led the team in tackles with 11. The next closest was six. Guy was obviously around the ball a lot but maybe it’s time to give him real respect too. It’s not just Barrett Carter at the linebacker spot on this team.

Zero sacks for that front. I think that’s the most disappointing part of all of this.

2025 NFL Draft Quick Hitters:

SMU killed Pitt. Kevin Jennings played great coming off his turnover cheese from last week. Did it without RJ Maryland too who is lost for the season.

Kurtis Rourke can play. That’s all I know.

Not that this is anything new but Dylan Sampson keeps doing the damn thing. But win for the Vols against Kentucky.

Tahj Brooks might be a sleeper RB to keep an eye on too. Had some big runs as Iowa State finally lost a game.
