2024 NFL Draft War Room: Atlanta Falcons
It’s been three straight 7-9 seasons for the Atlanta Falcons. It’s also been three straight years where the Falcons have picked a skill position player in the first round. Coincidence? That’s what happens when you sit there at pick 8 and just turn the card in for Drake London when you could have had George Pickens 50 picks later and picked up eight additional guys. The War Room series will help Atlanta’s front office recognize their flaws.
I personally think this simulation is almost a best case scenario. I can’t imagine the Falcons will do better in real life. In fact, I think I can guarantee it. With Kirk Cousins in town and plenty of highly drafted weapons around him, let’s improve this defense. If the defense gets better, they’re actual contenders to win the division. Shouldn’t that be the goal here?
Is that what Terry Fontenot will do? Not based on his track record. A track record of flaws. Don’t worry, he’s so smart that they bragged about not having Bill Belichick in their top three candidates.
As always you can let me know your thoughts. Either way, you’re helping our YouTube so please send those comments even if they’re negative and hateful. I promise you won’t hurt my feelings.
