Exactly one month ago, over 80 players who signed last summer became trade-eligible. A total of 18 more players became trade-eligible Wednesday, nearly three weeks ahead of the 2024-25 trade deadline because they met the following criteria:
Who are those 18 players? Here is the full list!
Player | Team |
Precious Achiuwa | New York Knicks |
OG Anunoby | New York Knicks |
Goga Bitadze | Orlando Magic |
Miles Bridges | Charlotte Hornets |
Max Christie | Los Angeles Lakers |
Nic Claxton | Brooklyn Nets |
Haywood Highsmith | Miami Heat |
Isaiah Joe | Oklahoma City Thunder |
Johnny Juzang | Utah Jazz |
KJ Martin | Philadelphia 76ers |
Tyrese Maxey | Philadelphia 76ers |
Malik Monk | Sacramento Kings |
Josh Okogie | Phoenix Suns |
Scotty Pippen Jr. | Memphis Grizzlies (trade eligible by converting to standard on Oct. 15) |
Immanuel Quickley | Toronto Raptors |
Obi Toppin | Indiana Pacers |
Aaron Wiggins | Oklahoma City Thunder |
Patrick Williams | Chicago Bulls |
There are still multiple players who don’t become trade-eligible until later in the month, such as Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard and Cavaliers center Jarrett Allen, because of when they signed. Other players, such as Lauri Markkanen, are ineligible to be traded at all because of that same reason; in Markkanen’s case, he’s eligible to be traded Feb. 7, one day after the deadline.
