The pressure is on. It has to be, right? Bill Belichick is a notorious bad drafter so I’m happy to help him out here. The 2023 NFL Draft is going to be a hard one to nail. However, this is the highest the Patriots have picked in a LONG time. I like our odds this time around. Let’s get right to it for your New England Patriots 2023 NFL Draft War Room edition!

Let’s talk about this one. I’m not sure how the rest of the Patriot fans feel but I think it’s imperative that they come out of this with a wide receiver. Preferably the homegrown Zay Flowers. Someone that will bring a real speed element to their team. JuJu sucks. So does Davante Parker. It’s going to be another long season in New England if they don’t get a guy like this. Head the warning.

The Patriots are in prime position to land one of the premier cornerbacks. I’m not sure they have to get too cute there. If one of the cornerbacks is available, turn the card in. Bill Belichick’s specialty is in the secondary so you know whoever it is will be groomed very well.

The Pats also really need a linebacker. Can you name a linebacker on their team? Have they done anything to replace Dont’a Hightower? Food for thought.
