It’s now or never time for Mo Alie-Cox. The Colts starting tight end is on the OnlyFans list this year and for good reason. Jack Doyle is retired. Former fourth-rounder Kylen Granson looks like a zero. Indianapolis is desperate for someone to step up. Michael Pittman is the team’s only real target. Could Alie-Cox be the fantasy sleepers we’re all looking for in 2022?
Alie-Cox hasn’t played in the preseason. His spot is secure on the depth chart. He’s at the top of it. The skillset was always there as a former basketball player. Maybe we just need to be a tad more patient. I’ve called my shot before on the Alie-Cox thing and it didn’t work. Then again, I probably should have know it just never was going to happen until Jack Doyle wasn’t the top guy.
Who are the Colts throwing the ball to? I still haven’t figured it out. If people think the Colts are going to win games, someone has to score other than Jonathan Taylor and Michael Pittman. If Alie-Cox is the next best guy, there are fantasy points here to be had. Seriously, who else is there? Maybe Alec Pierce can do something but that’s literally all they have.
If you’re desperate at tight end, Mo Alie-Cox should be on your radar. If this dude pops, it could wind up being a serious league winner. The potential here is off the charts so why not take a shot?
