Zy Alexander 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Zy Alexander is next up on the 2025 NFL Draft profile series. Everything and anything you want to know about the LSU cornerback, we’re going over it so let’s not waste any time and get right to it.

Alexander, 23, checks in at 6-foot-1, 187, and was a zero star recruit coming out of high school. He spent three years at Southeastern Louisiana before finishing up two season at LSU. With LSU, he became the starter pretty much right away. Over the last two years with LSU, Alexander has four picks and 10 PBUs.

Here’s the other thing about Alexander. He shut it down early at the East-West, but it was incredibly obvious that he was a standout there. A lot of the who is that guy vibes in a good way. That right there alone is a great sign. If you want to be a real NFL player, you better look the part at All-Star events, and there’s no question Alexander did.

The Combine was solid but not anything outstanding. Doesn’t have elite speed. A bit high cut. He’s not goofy though in the movement skills. Doesn’t appear to be limited after tearing his ACL in 2023. His length is also noticeable in his play. This past year, Alexander allowed a passer rating of 53.2. Pretty damn good considering it’s the SEC.

I’m a fan of Zy Alexander. He’s a third round pick type of guy for me. He’s not Patrick Peterson LSU good but he’s LSU quality with the upside to be a real starting caliber player at the next level.
