Zack Martin Joins The 99 Club On Madden 24
Zack Martin is a popular guy today. On a brighter note, with the recent news that he’s unhappy with his contract status among guards, Martin was officially announced into the 99 Club Wednesday, the first guard to join in 20 years.

Martin is well deserving of the spot. Last season was yet again another All-Pro year for the Cowboys guard who played in all 17 games. He had a 96 percent pass block win rate, the third-best mark leaguewide amongst guards, while giving up just three sacks. He added on an impressive 73.8 percent run block win rate, just shy of cracking the top 10 last year for his position.
The former first-round pick (No. 16 overall) has eight Pro Bowl appearances and six first-team All-Pro honors. In Madden 24, Martin will have a 99 awareness, 98 run-block, a 97-strength, 96 toughness, 96 stamina, 95 pass-block, 94 lead block and a 93 impact-block rating, helping him earn his first-ever 99-club nod.
He is the only offensive lineman with a 99 overall rating, with Trent Williams (98), Lane Johnson (98), Laremy Tunsil (95), Chris Lindstrom (93) and Joel Bitonio (92) trailing him, respectively, among others.
In my opinion, his toughness should easily be a 99 for the simple fact that he’s only missed eight games in his storied nine-year career. He joins Justin Jefferson and Aaron Donald as the only players to be announced into the club as of today, with the rest of the positions expected to be announced in the coming days.
