Wyatt Milum 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Wyatt Milum is the last profile I want to check off the list before I publish the AFC South 2025 NFL Draft grades… so if you don’t mind, I’m just going to get on with it now. We’re not going to take forever here, that much I promise.

NFL Draft Stock Report: Senior Bowl (2), (3)

Milum, 23, was a four star recruit hailing from Huntington, West Virginia. Deciding to stay close to home, Milum was ranked as the 103rd overall player, 15th tackle, and number one player in the state during the 2021 cycle. Checking in at 6-foot-6, 313, he stayed all four years with the Mountaineers, but did almost pursue a baseball path with Marshall.

The on-field stuff here is encouraging. Milum made Freshman All-American right away. He’s been the full time starter at left tackle for the last three years. This past year included Big 12 Offensive Lineman of the Year and First-team All-Big 12 selections.

This is the big problem. I care about the pre-draft process for offensive linemen more than just about any other position. At the end of the day, can you recover from chaos and really move when you need to? Milum just really didn’t pass that test at the Combine, and he looked like trash at the Senior Bowl.

Honestly, I don’t think this one is hard to figure out. It’s great that Milum was successful at West Virginia, but he best profiles as a guard. 32 inch arms and isn’t a length monster. Ran a 5.27 and a lot of his deficiencies come from average feet and being too narrow in the base. Again, my Combine post goes through a lot of that stuff. The positive is that he is definitely tough and fights his tail off in the hand fighting department. This isn’t someone you’re just going to bullrush to death and more than holds up in that area.

Over the last three years, he hasn’t given up a sack. A lot of that has to do with never being overpowered in a dinky Big 12 Conference.

I think Milum got taken around the right spot. Maybe a touch high, but someone who has a chance to develop into a capable guard option.
