Tonight’s episode of WWE Monday Night RAW will be airing live tonight at 8 p.m. EST from the Giant Center in Hershey, Penn. This is the go-home episode of RAW before WWE Night of Champions this coming Saturday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. There are still multiple storylines that could progress before the premium live event and multiple matches could still be added to the card.
Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch are set to go one on one at WWE Night of Champions. This is a dream match for fans all over the wrestling world. Some would argue Becky Lynch is the biggest star in women’s wrestling today, while Trish Stratus may be considered the greatest women’s wrestler of all time up to this point. This contract signing should be interesting and has the potential to add more fuel to the fire. Everybody loves a good old-fashioned contract signing table spot, so you can also expect that of course.
This six-man tag match has the potential to be an incredibly fun one. It is always fun when the WWE puts mystery partners in the mix. The one problem is, most of the time they are not much of a surprise, and I would not expect any different tonight. Gunther is set to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Mustafa Ali on Saturday. I expect him to be the mystery partner, but Matt Riddle and Cody Rhodes are potential options. It seems as if Gunther is going to be one of the faces of RAW moving forward, so I expect him to pick up the pin in this match.
In what could be the match to steal the show tonight, we have Zoey Stark wrestling for the third week in a row since her debut a few weeks ago. It seems as if WWE has plans for her to have a significant role in the RAW women’s division moving forward. Hopefully, we see the same for LeRae. This has the potential to be an incredible match between two of the most skilled women WWE has to offer.
I chose the words “same arena” very specifically because it’s what WWE is advertising this as. I do not expect these men to have a proper segment, but who knows where this could end up. We are most likely to get these men constantly going after each other all night with security stepping in wherever they can to break it up. I am expecting their biggest “brawl” to date, with Lesnar most likely standing tall to end the episode of RAW before their match at WWE Night of Champions. I expect Rhodes to pick up the victory and end his feud with Brock Lesnar this Saturday.
