We’re in the middle of the 4 Nations tournament right now. I can’t believe people even care about this but I guess I’m willing to admit watching Tkachuk and Tkachuk on the same line was entertaining. Beyond that, the only cool part of this has been getting to see Sidney Crosby play with good players again.
This was FILTHY!!!
I don’t care what anybody says. Crosby is a total lunatic for his blind loyalty to the Penguins. What exactly does he owe them? All he’s doing is collecting stats while he can be part of a losing team that won’t make the playoffs. Maybe this is stupid but I just refuse to believe that he’s just going to rot in Pittsburgh for the rest of his career while still being an absolute baller on the ice.
Anywho, let’s get to the real topic at hand. In a recent clip that came out, players at the 4 Nations were asked who they would steal for their respective team. Crosby didn’t even hesitate.
Who can blame him? Jack Eichel is amazing and he’s having a career season. Eichel has 69 points in 55 games and is a +29 on the season. He’s been a menace defensively too.
Maybe Crosby is truly committed to staying with the Penguins forever. Then again, maybe Vegas would be a team he considers. Maybe the blind loyalty factor goes away when you factor in that the VGK didn’t even exist when Crosby was drafted in 2005. Can’t say Vegas ever passed on him when he’s been in the league longer than the actual franchise has been.
Probably unlikely but never say never. If and when Crosby gets sick and tired of wasting his time in Pittsburgh, add Vegas to the list of suitors. I would want to play with Jack Eichel too if I wanted to win another Cup to close my career out.
